FAQ

Is there a minimum age requirement?

Yes, riders must be at least 14 years old and accompanied by the adult responsible both for them and the deposit on their bike.

Do you provide protective gear?

Yes, we offer helmets with each bike rental for free and we have a selection of gloves, t-shirts and other equipment available to purchase from our shop.

Bike Sizing

Our adult bikes are one size fits all so long as rider height is between about 1.60m and 1.90m - we can adjust to suit when you get here.  We have bikes with step-through frames and normal frames - depending on availability when you arrive, you can choose whichever you prefer. 

Do you rent trailers?

Yes!  We have 1 trailer that can take 1 child 4-5 years old or 2 children 2-4 years old and we have 2 trailers that can take 1 child 3-8 years old.  We have routes we can recommend that are trailer friendly.  There are availability calendars for bikes and trailers.  If dates and times correspond, just add them into the shopping cart.

multi-day rentals, DELIVERY AND PICKUP?

Yes.  We we can do multi-day, week or even multi-week rentals but only by prior arrangement.  Please see Long Rentals for more details.

CAN I CANCEL OR CHANGE MY RESERVATION?

Yes. We offer refunds according to timescale but changes are free so long as we have availability.  Please see terms & conditions.

can you suggest routes to ride?

Yes!  We have nice circuit rides that we can recommend.  Vineyard routes, castles, cross-country tracks, forest routes, routes suitable for trailers - tell us what you want and we'll help you pick something according to your skills and fitness.  You can rent a pre-programmed gps and self-guide.  Have a look on our Routes & Rides page for more info.

WHAT IF MY BIKE BREAKS DOWN?

We're here to help and we'll come to you.  All our bikes use special anti-puncture tyre inserts so punctures are unusual.  As for actual break-downs, if we have a spare bike we'll bring it so you can keep going. If you want a refund, no problem. Whatever we can do to help, we'll do.
